So maybe you've been wondering where I've been for the last few weeks seeing as its been very quiet on my blog, or maybe you didn't even notice - but I thought you deserved a little bit of an explanation either way. And the explanation simply is that life got very, very busy and I had no time to blog or take pictures. In fact, I really enjoyed having time away from my blog because it took the pressure off and gave me time to think about what I enjoy about blogging and why I do it. I can't promise a frequent blogging schedule as life is still much busier at the moment, but I do have a few outfit posts now lined up, because as you can probably guess from the above pictures - I've been on holiday! This weekend me and my parents went away to Bournemouth, and it was just lovely to get away from my life and take a break. I've been to Bournemouth quite a few times, particularly when I lived in Southampton for University, but every visit is always different as there's so much to do there and it's so picturesque. It was especially lovely as our hotel overlooked the sea - and I love being by the sea, as opposed to being stuck in a hectic city like London. It ended up being a boiling hot weekend and I am now very sunburnt, which is a bit embarrassing because I'm usually well prepared with my factor 50 sunscreen, what with being extremely pale for all my life. We walked along the pier and I wore this perfectly nautical dress I got from the Forever21 plus size section and few months ago for about £12, and its so comfy. I've also been wearing my Primark sailor cardigan to death, which is a few years old, and I wish I had bought a few at the time because I'm sure it's going to fall to pieces sometime soon. Anyway, I hope you are all enjoying the sunny weather!
