Fields of Gold

Dress - Alice & You @ ASOS, Bag - Urban Outfitters, Necklace - Accessorize, Shoes - ASOS

Hello!
I think this may be one of my favourite blog posts yet! Not only because I absolutely love this Alice & You dress, but also I love the location of these beautiful yellow fields which happen to be about five minutes from my house. Where I live in North London we have the best of both worlds; not only do we have the advantage of living in London, but we also have fields and even farms! We also border onto Hertfordshire which means I can escape the hustle and bustle quite easily. And when the fields look this amazing I have to take advantage of them for an outfit post, of course! I think Alice & You could be my new favourite brand as I love all the clothes they are doing at the moment. It's like finally having a plus size Dahlia which would pretty much be a dream come true, and it's something I aspire to when I design/make clothes too. The print of this dress is so so pretty, and the shape fits really well. (you even get a treat of seeing my arms - I never show much of my arms at all) Even though Alice & You are extremely reasonable (this dress is £25), all the tempting dresses are not good for my bank account. I want them all!

  1. Wow! All of that color! Such beautiful photos. I love cities where you have access to city and country, and depending on the neighborhood you're in, you feel like you're in a different world than the one a few miles away. We recently moved to Nashville, TN, and the city is huge. Each neighborhood has its own special feel and culture, and it's awesome to have so much city to explore but still so much green space, gardens, and parks. I really don't have an excuse to keep taking photos on our apartment balcony, when I have so many beautiful locales at my disposal! Love the plaid and flowers. I'm seeing the print more and more, and it's such a sweet, feminine mix!

    1. Yes, sometimes living in London can be a bit depressing with all concrete and traffic so getting to find pretty areas nearby is great! And I sometimes miss where I went to University in Southampton as I had much more variety to escape to like several beaches and the New Forest. Wow, must be amazing living in Nashville, you should go out and explore it all and document everything! xx
