Summer lovin', had me a blast

I took these pictures at the weekend but I'm not a 100% happy with this outfit post as I was in a rush, but I didn't want to let a good outfit go to waste. Please excuse the fact that my collar is turned up, my ribbon looks a little weird, and that I look moody!
Rocking the pale legs :)
I recently bought this cardigan from Dorothy Perkins, and this pink blouse from New Look as I wanted to add some summery colours to my wardrobe. I paired it with this old gingham skirt from ASOS Curve, which I don't wear often as it's made out of the weirdest fabric - I can only but describe it as a waterproof anorak? It means it doesn't sit right and creases in odd shapes after every time I sit down (as you can see below). It's a shame as I love gingham, and it's such a pretty colour!
Cardigan - Dorothy Perkins
Blouse - New Look Inspire
Skirt - ASOS Curve
Shoes - Tesco, last Summer

And just a reminder that you can vote for me for 'best achievement' for my uni collection at the British Plus Size Awards here. I'm not sure when voting closes but the award ceremony isn't until November, so it might be a while yet. I'd really appreciate your vote :)

  1. You look lovely!! But totally know what you mean about that skirt. I bought it and never wore it ... It's like a shower curtain! So strange!

    1. Shower curtain is definitely the best way to describe it! x

  2. This is such a cute outfit. Too bad about the skirt, it still looks great.
