Home for Christmas!

Just thought I'd give you a little update! You may have noticed that my banner has changed. I'm in the middle of 'rebranding' - well not quite. My twitter name has been Apple Charlotte for about 4 years now, and I thought it was appropriate to name everything the same. My Tumblr has changed, and I'm in the process of changing this blog too - hoping to get a domain name but I'll keep you all posted.

Today I came home to London for Christmas. I have three weeks off and I plan to make the most of it. Yesterday was my last hand-in for 2012, but of course the work doesn't stop there as my dissertation is due at the end of january, which means I'm going to be writing it the whole of Christmas. If you follow me on tumblr you may have seen the following picture:
This is me 'modelling' for my own project. I'm looking into body shape and image.
This is all work going towards my FMP (final collection) which is going to be plus size. I'm getting quite excited about it now.
These are a few of my illustrations for my digital sketchbook. At the moment I'm having a worry about finding models - I want to use size UK20-22 to model my final collection down the catwalk next year, and I have no idea where I'm going to find any. Any volunteers?

Anyway, so glad to be home, and it meant we could finally put up the Christmas tree (as I don't allow my parents to put it up without me):
I'm really into eclectic, candy-cane, Scandinavian looking trees as you can probably tell.
That's all for now.
I hope you are all enjoying your Christmas!
