So I've been home for Christmas for 2 weeks now and I've got 1 week to go.
Christmas day was a simple one; we went to church in the morning then me and my Mum made the Christmas dinner. It was just me, my parents and my grandma - we're a small family. Even though both Christmas day and Boxing day were fun, it didn't feel Christmassy at all. It's probably because it's not even cold out!
Anyway, these were my favourite presents:
A giant strawberry from Becca, and Rapunzel from Santa.
I made some glittery, Christmassy cupcakes.
I also gave caviar nails a go - I think I need more practice.
Then last night me and the parents went for a carvery dinner at the Strand Palace Hotel, followed by seeing Dreamboats & Petticoats on the Westend in Leicester Square.
It was a surprisingly small theatre, and we had good seats. If you've not seen Dreamboats & Petticoats, it's a musical based on Essex in 1961 with great music and dancing.
Did any of you risk the Boxing day sales? I can't bare them so I stick to online shopping only. This is what I've bought so far:
A mac from Very for £23 - It came today and its slightly too light for me so I'm thinking of dying it brown.
And this very popular velvet skirt from New Look for £5, which has now sold out, but keep an eye out for it!
I'm currently on the hunt for some new sturdy brown brogues - as well as being excited to spend my Christmas vouchers.
I all hope you had a very merry Christmas, and will have a happy new year!
Now back to being bored and writing my dissertation:
