November walks

I managed to complete both my hand in's this week, and survive! Whether they're up to scratch or not, I have no idea. But with the sacrifice of Halloween, and generally not having a life, I do hope I get a good mark for all my hard work.
To celebrate having our first weekend free whilst at uni, me and my housemate Lucie went on our first Winchester trip of the term. We love visiting Winchester as it's so completely different from Southampton, with a cosy atmosphere that reminds me of my parents (but not of home, as it's not like north London at all).
The weather is changing, and the temperature is certainly dropping.

Lucie.
A house that really reminded me of Harry Potter's in Godric's Hollow, you think?
Winchester Cathedral.

A swan.

Me pulling a weird face.

As you can see, Winchester is a lovely place, and very very British. It feels to Christmassy there already with all the lights strung, and the winter chill in the air. Southampton just doesn't seem to have the same flavour, especially as we're such a student-y city.
