Follow that Brick Lane

Yep, I'm back in London for the weekend. I wasn't intending to come home for two more weeks but we were given our first project and it involves choosing any part of London, researching it, then designing a collection based on that area. As you can see I chose to do Brick Lane. Not only is it very close to my house, it's also 'right up my street'. If you don't know anything about Brick Lane, it's basically a street full of vintage shops which are the best in London. I love vintage clothing and I find it so inspiring, so I thought it would be perfect for my project. It was also a good excuse to pop up with my two friends for some shopping.

We found this amazing American Cheerleader Jacket which I made Kirsi try on. I love this jacket so much that I want to make one.

Me posing by the infamous Brick Lane sign.

It was a very fun but long day. I took about 400 photographs, interviewed randomers, ate a massive nando's and visited an art gallery. Overall, it was a successful research trip.

What I'm wearing:
Spotty dress - Yours Clothing
Jumper - Asos
Belt - Dorothy Perkins
Necklace - Clothes Show Live
Backpack - Asos
